The workwear manufacturer Fristads becomes Main Partner to Partille World Cup, one of the world’s largest and most international youth handball tournament. Every year Partille World Cup welcomes more than 1,400 teams from the whole world to Gothenburg in Sweden.
”Partille World Cup’s purpose is to create a meeting place for young people from all over the world, regardless of gender, religion or social background. The partnership with Fristads gives us a solid base to work from, giving young people the opportunity to meet and get a positive experience,” says Fredrik Andersson, General Secretary of Partille World Cup.
Fristads started their business almost a hundred years ago and is today one of Sweden’s largest producers of workwear for a wide range of professional users. The partnership with Partille World Cup enables Fristads to contribute to promoting the health of future generations and at the same time establish a foundation for more young people to meet, both on and outside of the court - regardless of nationality.
“Our children are our future, and we are both proud and happy to enable more kids to experience the joy that comes with the sport. We see Partille World Cup as the perfect partner to enable more people to experience the community that sports builds, a community that creates interest and understanding across national borders,” says Petra Öberg Gustafsson, CEO at Fristads.
The new agreement means that Partille World Cup will be presented by Fristads. Through the partnership Fristads will also actively contribute to Partille World Cup's extensive sustainability work before, during and after the tournament.
“Together with Fristads, we are taking new steps towards creating an even stronger tournament with sustainability work in focus,” says Fredrik Andersson, General Secretary of the Partille World Cup.
