Fristads expands workwear concepts with new autumn and winter garments

Fristads workwear news autumn/winter 2023

Fristads’ unique workwear concepts continue to grow with a timely launch of garments made to protect against rain, wind and cold. The new outer garments will join Fristads’ Alnaryd, Haverdal, Tyresta and Skarup concepts, all of which have a signature fit, functionality and style.

“When we created our concepts, we based them on our most popular trousers and added matching tops, mainly for spring and summer. Now we are adding garments for autumn and winter, designed to keep the user warm and dry, regardless of the weather,” said Lena Bay Højland, Product Director at Fristads. “The idea of our concepts is to take the guess work out of workwear purchases and help the customer find the clothes that match their preferences and work environment.”

Fristads’ autumn and winter launch is a boost for its biggest concept, Alnaryd, which is characterised by exceptionally durable workwear for rough and tough environments. Alnaryd is expanding with a new shell jacket and shell trousers, as well as an insulated winter jacket and winter trousers, all made of Fristads’ waterproof, windproof and breathable Airtech® material.

Additionally, Fristads is launching two garments made of recycled polyester: a functional and durable shell jacket for the Haverdal concept and a Polartec® fleece jacket for the high-end Tyresta concept. The shell jacket is made of a lightweight 4-way stretch material and is a great choice for users who value flexibility and comfort above all. The Polartec® fleece jacket is highly breathable, transports moisture and has great insulating properties.

“We are continuously replacing traditional materials with recycled alternatives as a part of our sustainability work, but we never compromise with the quality, since that would negatively affect the longevity of the garment and make it less sustainable in the long run. When we choose a more sustainable fabric for a garment, our customers can rest assured that we have gone above and beyond to ensure that it meets our high quality standards,” said Lena Bay Højland.

For the Skarup concept, an existing winter jacket and a pair of craftsman trousers have been updated with new colours due to popular demand.
