Fristads launches lightweight craftsman trousers in 100% stretch

Workwear manufacturer Fristads reinforces its commitment to flexibility and freedom of movement at work with its spring launch. One of the most noteworthy products in the line-up is a pair of comfortable craftsman trousers in lightweight stretch that offer ample functionality at great value.

“We believe workwear with stretch is a trend that is here to stay,” says Anastasios Lappas, Head of Design and Innovation at Fristads. “Our stretch garments are becoming more and more popular, especially with the younger generation of workers. They’re not on par with our classics yet, but they’re getting close.” 

The newest addition to Fristads’ range of craftsman trousers are made of a flexible 4-way stretch material with reinforced ripstop stretch in exposed areas. They join several other craftsman trousers in the company’s growing range of stretchy workwear that blurs the line between work and free time. To meet an increasing demand for workwear for women, the trousers also come in a model with a feminine fit.

The trousers have all the basic functions and pockets of a regular pair of craftsman trousers and are the most aggressively priced model to date.

“We saw a need for versatile craftsman trousers that are durable and comfortable, yet competitively priced. These trousers fulfil that need and have been tested by our end users, who have given us useful feedback throughout the development process. The trousers have also been received very well by our retailers,” says Lena Bay, Product Director at Fristads.

Due to high demand, the stretchy craftsman trousers will initially be available in Sweden and Finland in spring 2021, with a launch in other European markets planned for autumn.

Along with the trousers, Fristads launches a pair of craftsman shorts in the same style, just in time for spring building projects. Like the trousers, the shorts are made of lightweight 4-way stretch material for superior flexibility and comfort.

Comfortable and lightweight workwear trousers made of 4-way stretch and featuring ripstop reinforcements for extra strength. These trousers have a versatile and functional design and can be matched great with Fristads existing Fusion range. The trousers were mainly developed for the service and industry sectors but can be used by craftsmen as well.

SERVICE STRETCH SHORTS 2543 LWR
These lightweight workwear shorts feature 4-way stretch panels for increased comfort and freedom of movement. Made of water repellent and durable ripstop material with stretch waist and functional pockets, these shorts are the perfect garment for warm days at work.
