Multifunctional garments that blend in just as seamlessly on urban streets as in the woods are the theme of the autumn and winter launch for Fristads Outdoor. The star of the launch is an exquisite parka with extra everything.

“Our Fristads Outdoor collection is geared towards younger users, whose clothes tend to blur the line not only between work and leisure, but also between nature and the city,” said Lena Bay Højland, Product Director at Fristads. “All the garments in our autumn and winter launch tap into this style as they are both multifunctional, comfortable and have a contemporary design.”

At the heart of the launch is an exquisite parka insulated with 700 fill power ethically produced down. With a waterproof and windproof membrane and PFC-free DWR treatment, the parka is designed to keep the user warm and dry even in the most challenging conditions.

The launch also includes a lightweight Polartec® hoodie that wicks away moisture as well as an insulating, breathable pile jacket with high comfort. Both tops are made of stretchy, recycled material and work well as a mid-layer under a shell jacket or vest. The pile jacket is an evolution of a classic Fristads work garment that has been around for generations but just recently has surged in popularity among younger users.

The hoodie, pile jacket and parka are all produced with fabric made of recycled materials.

“We know that people who enjoy being outdoors also tend to care about nature, so all the garments in our Fristads Outdoor collection have had recycled materials from the start. As a part of our ongoing sustainability work, we are also continuously replacing conventional materials with recycled alternatives in our workwear,” said Lena Bay Højland. “

The new Fristads Outdoor garments are available at fristads.com and at selected retailers.
